These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Meridix Compass application for Android and the associated website at meridix.thejmstudios.com (collectively, the "Services"), provided by TheJMStudios ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using Meridix Compass, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Services immediately.

Meridix Compass is an independent personal project developed and maintained by TheJMStudios. The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We make no representations or warranties regarding:

• The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of compass readings or directional data.
• The uninterrupted, error-free, or secure availability of the application or website.
• The fitness of the application for any particular purpose or navigation use case.
• Compatibility with any specific Android device, OS version, or hardware configuration.

By using the Services, you represent that you are legally permitted to do so under applicable laws. You agree that you are solely responsible for:

• Your use of Meridix Compass and any actions taken based on its output.
• Ensuring the application is appropriate for your intended use.
• Compliance with all local laws and regulations applicable to your use of the Services.
• Any content you submit when contacting TheJMStudios.

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that could harm, disable, or impair the Services or interfere with other users' use of them.

You may not, under any circumstances:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of Meridix Compass.
• Copy, redistribute, repackage, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the application to any third party.
• Modify the application or create derivative works based on it, in whole or in part.
• Use the Meridix Compass name, logo, branding, screenshots, artwork, or any application or website assets without explicit prior written permission from TheJMStudios.
• Frame or mirror any part of the website without written consent.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or collect content from the website.

All content, features, and functionality of the Services — including but not limited to the application software, user interface designs, icons, logos, graphics, illustrations, documentation, and website copy — are the exclusive intellectual property of TheJMStudios and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights, licences, or interests in the Services beyond a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the application for personal, non-commercial purposes on your own Android device, subject to these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TheJMStudios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or in connection with your use of the Services, including but not limited to:

• Inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed compass readings or directional data.
• Navigation errors or decisions made based on information provided by the application.
• Loss of data, device damage, or service interruptions.
• Any reliance placed on the content of the application or website.

TheJMStudios's total liability to you for any cause whatsoever shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for access to the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

TheJMStudios reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, without prior notice or liability, to:

• Modify, update, or discontinue any feature, component, or version of Meridix Compass.
• Suspend or permanently discontinue the application or website.
• Restrict access to the Services or to certain users.

We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.

TheJMStudios reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updated Terms become effective immediately upon publication to this page.

Your continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the Services.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where TheJMStudios operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
