Meridix Compass is designed to be minimal in its data collection. Sensor data (compass heading, accelerometer readings) processed by Meridix Compass is used exclusively on-device in real time to provide directional information. It is never transmitted to our servers or to any third party.

To improve the quality and stability of Meridix Compass, we use the following third-party services operated by Google:

• Google Analytics for Firebase — collects anonymised usage data such as event counts, session duration, and screen engagement. This data helps us understand which features are used most and how we can improve the overall experience.
• Firebase Crashlytics — automatically captures crash reports and diagnostic information when the application encounters an unhandled error. This enables us to identify, prioritise, and resolve stability issues quickly.

Both services are subject to Google's own Privacy Policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. Data collected by these services may be processed on Google's servers in accordance with Google's data processing terms.

The technical data described above is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Diagnosing and resolving application crashes and errors.
• Monitoring application performance and stability.

• Improving the reliability and user experience of Meridix Compass.

No other data sharing occurs. Third-party service providers integrated into the application operate under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

Meridix Compass is available to users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).

Because no account creation is required and no personal data is solicited during use of the application, Meridix Compass is designed to be safe for users of all ages. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information handled through the Services against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Third-party services used within the application — including Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics — implement industry-standard security practices under Google's infrastructure.

However, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet or through third-party systems. Your use of the Services is at your own risk with respect to data security.

The Meridix Compass name, logo, icon, branding, artwork, design assets, website content, application interface, graphics, and all associated intellectual property are proprietary to TheJMStudios and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not, without the prior explicit written permission of TheJMStudios:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute the application, its source code, or any application assets.
• Modify, rebrand, decompile, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the application.
• Use the Meridix Compass name, logo, screenshots, branding, or any website or application content for any commercial or public purpose.

Unauthorised use of any proprietary material belonging to TheJMStudios may result in civil and/or criminal liability under applicable law.

TheJMStudios reserves the right to update, modify, or replace this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes become effective immediately upon publication to this page.
